SUNRAD luminous heaters for Process Plants

SUNRAD luminous heaters for process plants are specifically designed for use in industrial production cycles for heating, drying, and dehydrating.

These are the main sectors of application:

  • FOOD: drying of food products such as tomatoes, eggplants, and zucchini; dryers for corn and soy;
  • BRICKS AND CERAMICS: dryers of any size (depending on the type of ceramic) for drying treatments of tiles and glazes of any type, polymerization, gelation, and paint curing;
  • METALWORKING/FOUNDRIES/MARBLE: lines for pre-heating thermal treatments;
  • STEEL INDUSTRY: complete large-scale towing and handling lines for surface thermal treatment and drying of sheet metal in transit.

SUNRAD is composed of:

  • A RADIANT UNIT consisting of a series of perforated ceramic plates where a temperature of 900°C is developed, a control unit, a gas solenoid valve, and an electrode block that acts as an ignition element and an ionization flame control sensor;
  • A steel REFLECTOR, which allows the radiant heat to be concentrated towards the areas to be heated.

The installation of SUNRAD luminous heaters complies with the UNI EN 13410 standard.
