Radiant Tubes
Radiant tube heaters are the ideal solution for heating localized areas subject to high heat loss. They can be fueled by either natural gas or LPG.
Heating equipments suited for all industrial environments with great height (form 4 to 20 meters) or with high thermal dispersion.
It includes a burner unit and a heat exchanger tube which reaches the temperature of 400 ÷ 550 °C, providing very high radiation efficiency, also by means of the reflecting cover located over the tubes, which focuses the thermal flow downwards.
Through a centralized appliance control system, heating can be restricted only to active work areas.
Also available in single-tube and multi-burner configurations PANRAD RED LINE.
Key benefits
Environmental health
A much healthier environment, as no moving air causes suspension of dust, common to all production processes.
Environmental comfort
A very comfortable environment since Fraccaro’s radiant tubes PANRADs generate environmental conditions that ensure maximum well-being, by integrating the heat released by the human body through radiation.
High thermal emission
Emission generated by the higher available surface temperatures and the high reflection coefficient provided by the reflecting dishes that reflect heat downward.
Quick, easy installation
Obtained by very simple assembly and rapid ceiling installation with normal chains.
No floor or wall space is necessary
The appliances are installed on the ceiling, and high radiation emission drastically reduces the area required for the heating bodies.
No danger of frost
The lack of carrying fluids such as water or steam makes it possible to shut down systems for long periods without any unpleasant consequence.
Uniform temperature
The heat produced by the Panrad Radiant Modules ensures uniform temperature horizontally throughout the building – better than any type of traditional heating
Environment-friendly
Very low CO and Nox emissions.
Negative thermal gradient
The heat is concentrated fully toward the floor.
Spot heating
Activating only the appliances heating those zones, just as easily as lighting lamps to illuminate a particular area. This facility cuts down running costs considerably.
Minimum maintenance
High-quality components, combined with stringent inspections on the assembly line and in our in-house laboratory (compliant with European directives), ensure long-term reliability and safety.
Rapid warming
Due to lack of intermediate fluids.

PANRAD Radiant Tube Modules are now internationally distributed products. The range of PANRAD radiant tube modules essentially consists of a heat production unit with variable power from 10 to 50 kW, a radiant tube system 6, 9, or 12 meters long, and a series of control and safety devices. The combustion unit burns the air-gas mixture, and the fractional flame heats the carrier fluid circulating inside the heat exchanger tubes. This carrier fluid, consisting of combustion products, circulates inside the radiant tubes, which are made up of a flow pipe, a U-connection, and a return pipe. Activating a suction unit in the return pipe creates a vacuum inside the tubes, causing the carrier fluid to be drawn along the entire length of the radiant tubes, which then begin to radiate heat. To fully concentrate the radiation toward the floor and the objects on it, an aluminum alloy reflective parabola is mounted above the emitting tubes, recovering all the radiation that would otherwise be lost in the upper areas of the building being heated.
Burners
The burners designed by FRACCARO are all sealed, with combustion air intake and flue gas exhaust to the outside, resulting in the emission of very low CO and NOx values into the atmosphere (well below restrictive European limits).
Radiant tube heater
The maximum temperature reached due to the flue gas circulating inside is significant, measuring approximately 500°C at the hottest point of the most powerful units. The flow pipe is connected to the return pipe via a connection header; a compensation expansion joint is connected to this header to balance the greater thermal expansion of the flow pipe compared to the return pipe.
Reflector
The reflective parabola plays a vital role: the higher the amount of radiant heat reaching the ground, the lower the system’s operating costs. The reflector is made of aluminum alloy with a mirror finish and an absorption coefficient of 0.04. Fraccaro’s production also includes high-efficiency multi-face reflectors suitable for very low installations, reflectors with rock wool insulation for further recovery of lost heat, and stainless steel reflectors for installations in rooms where highly corrosive substances are processed.
