Officine Termotecniche Fraccaro propone un terminale destinato ad ambienti industriali e commerciali di medie e grandi dimensioni. Recognizable by its original rounded design, AFRA stands out above all for its technical features (standard three-speed motors, pre-configured for chilled water operation) and one of the lowest noise levels on the market.
The AFRA range consists of 18 models across 6 sizes, featuring 2, 3, or 4-row coils to ensure correct operation with hot water produced by boilers or heat pumps (4-row models). AFRA can also be installed anchored to the ceiling (vertical air projection).

CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
Casing made of pre-painted sheet steel, complete with ABS corners, internally insulated to prevent condensation on the casing itself during chilled water operation. The casing is complete with adjustable (spring-loaded) deflector fins located on the air outlet for optimal air distribution in the air-conditioned environment.
Heat exchange coil made of copper tubing and high thermal conductivity aluminum fins to optimize exchange compared to traditional iron tube coils. The coil is recessed relative to the air outlet.
Condensate collection tray in galvanized sheet steel, insulated with closed-cell polyurethane, connected to the auxiliary drain pan.
Standard tropicalized motors, equipped with internal thermal protection (klixon), with Class F windings, manufactured with IP55 protection rating: – Dual speed, 4/6 poles or 6/8 poles, in the 400V three-phase version. – 3 speeds in the 230V single-phase version (1400, 900, and 700 rpm), available for the entire range. Motorizations such as non-standard polarities (e.g., 4/8 poles) are available upon request.
Axial fan with sickle-shaped blades, statically balanced, housed in a special nozzle that enhances aerodynamic performance and minimizes noise.
An electro-galvanized steel wire safety guard supports the motor and is fixed to the casing using anti-vibration mounts.
AFRA is equipped as standard with brackets for fixing to support templates (available as accessories).
